I don't even know what to say. Today one of my friends showed me some of his poetry, and I was astonished. Comparing his to mine and mine to his - the difference. Not necessarily in the quality of the poems, but the context and composition. It was like I'd completely forgotten the other ways of making poetry. His was long and about religion, beliefs and just the world, where mine are more about feelings and particular situations I've been in. The difference is major! I wouldn't even know how to write like he does, but I'd like to say that I was able to, and of course I would like to actually be able to do it. It would bring so much
variety to my poetry. Mine are so short and even though they can be put together and sort of fit into context, it's nothing like his long poems and texts. I might be very harsh on my own work, but you also have to be realistic.
And sorry for not sharing my poetry and poems, so you could see what I'm talking about.
But one thing I will share with you;
this. Listen to the lyrics in the end:
"So you say the world is lonely.
You are alone"
